About this site

This site has been created to allow fans of McLaren Vale boutique wineries to find the best of the Vale in one spot. Our definition of "boutique" is any winery producing fewer than 2500 cases per year. These wineries produce high quality, small batch wines, and are hard to come by. Being on a mailing list is often the only way to purchase these wines.

When using this site, note that the boutique wineries will be "featured members", while our wine loving fans will be regular members. You can view details of our boutique wineries by clicking on their member icon. Each winery has it's own page, blog, links to websites, photos and more.

NovaNation

I rarely plug anything, but I have to give a big plug for NovaNation! It is one of Australia's new digital radio stations with "the full spectrum of dance including House, Breaks, Trance, Techno - in high quality aacPlus audio. "

All I need now is a digital radio player for the winery!

"you're the only guy I know who listens to this stuff and doesn't take drugs!" a vigneron on my enjoyment of dance music.

It is Finished!

After five months and one week the 2009 fruit intake has ended! It's certainly been the longest vintage I've ever been involved in. Bring on the rain

It's pruning season and there's nothing worse than pruning in the rain. BUT, the drought takes precedence so bring on the rain.
